SCHOOLS IN BACKWARD AREAS > SURRENDRA PAUL GRAMODAYA VIDYALAYA IN MADHYA PRADESH

Surrendra Paul Gramodaya Vidyalaya is a comprehensive educational institution and plays a key role in the development of Chitrakoot and adjacent villages in Madhya Pradesh, areas identified as most backward by the Indian Planning Commission.

Set up in 1991 in partnership with NGO, Dindayal Research Institute the Schools take forward the literacy part of the of late Nanaji Deshmukh’s mission of self reliance for these areas.

The program has given quality formal and non formal education to nearly 1,000 students annually.
