SELECTION CRITERIA For the purpose of IVA a volunteer is defined as someone who provides a service through a formal organisation, by choice, without financial remuneration and for the benefit of the community/organisation. The Individual awards will be given on the basis of • Usefulness of the Volunteer contribution to the organisation or to the community • Evidence of volunteer's contribution in terms of innovation or initiative taken • Evidence of volunteer's commitment to the organization and the service they provide • Impact of the volunteer's work for the organization or to the community The NGO Awards will be given on the basis of • NGOs volunteering policy and Volunteer engagement and training Processes • Efficacy and Success of volunteer management by the NGO • NGO initiatives to ensure positive volunteer experiences • Impact of the volunteers work on the NGO's overall Mission The Corporate Awards will be given on the basis of • Depth of the Company's Employee volunteering policy • Ability of the Company to engage its employees in volunteering • Evidence of Rigour in Company's support for the volunteeringUniqueness of the company's model / practices on employee engagement towards volunteering • Impact the company's Volunteering Program achieved for the NGOs / community ................................................................................................................................
