Anuradha was actively involved in the advocacy that resulted in the passing of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, have since been working on ensuring its effective implementation both at the State and National levels. She has also been actively involved in the National Consultations on Sexual Assault laws and Marital Property Rights. Anuradha initiated the setting up of AMAN Global Voices for Peace in the Home, an international network of organisations working on Domestic Violence and has been involved in judicial training in India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh as part of the Asia Pacific Forum on Judicial Education on Equality Issues for the past 12 years. Anuradha was responsible for initiating and co-ordinating a National Level Campaign against Violence on Women and Girls which is now carried out by groups across the country. Anuradha who has made several presentations in India and abroad is also a Guest speaker on women’s rights courses conducted by Women’s Studies Departments in Calcutta University and Jadavpur University.
