Fidelity Investments’ captive arm in India, Fidelity Business services Pvt Ltd (FBSI), is committed to supporting the local communities in which our employees live and work. Fidelity Cares was formally launched in India in 2007 with three founding values of Care, Compassion and Commitment. Since then, it has become a value based employee engagement initiative and is an integral part of the culture of the firm.

Our volunteering projects are created with the dual objective of enhancing the participation of the volunteer and strengthening the relationship with our NGO partner. FBSI’s employees have participated in the communities we serve, offering their time and talent in a multitude of ways. Our volunteering engagements include volunteering to raise funds, skill based volunteering projects and reverse mentoring: we believe that volunteering is also a learning platform and therefore volunteering projects and activities are included in our leadership development programs. To encourage and enable the associates to volunteer during business hours, FBSI rolled out the Employee Volunteering Policy in May, 2010. In consent with their managers and looking into their work schedules, associates can volunteer up to a maximum of 8 hours in a year during business hours.
