Due to initiatives and practices that we have put in place, Typhoo Tea in the UK has achieved the status of ´zero tea waste´ in 2011. All the tea waste is utilized as animal feed by Sugarich, even as we take initiatives to minimise tea waste and spillages during the manufacturing process. ´Off cuts´ tea bag paper, although unavoidable while manufacturing round shaped tea bags, too are now 100 % recycled.
