In 2010, in collaboration with our partner Ananda Mela, tricycles specially modifed for people with disability were purchased by Apeejay Trust and distributed to 50 persons in Haldia. To us, this was just a reiteration of our decades old commitment to organisations working on mobility for the disabled and it was one of the many partnerships we have created down the years towards assisting and empowering the disabled, making them independently mobile and perhaps improving their income generating capacity.
